Hope Center is housed in what was once the First Baptist Church of Sweet Home. On the main floor there is a kitchen pantry, office, 2 bedrooms and a large meeting area. The second floor is where the residents live and it has a kitchen, lounge area and seven bedrooms. The area that once was the sanctuary is now used for garage sales that are fund raisers for the shelter. The vision for the use of this building as a shelter came from Esther Bennett and Sharon Pryor who looked at the unused church and felt God had another purpose for this facility. |

The Hope Center is on 12th Street in Sweet Home, very close to the downtown area. |
